Attempt to speak in the language as much as possible!
Remember to raise your hand- be polite!
Stay seated and respect others’ property.
Bathroom usage will be during the first and last 5 minutes of class unless you have an emergency.
Absences/ Late work:
If you are absent, you will have the same number of class days as you were absent to make up any assignments. Assignments which are not completed in this time frame will be considered late.
Any homework will be accepted late, but, will be counted as half credit if it is turned in after the due date/time.
Major assignments (project, warm-ups) will also be accepted late, but will be deducted one letter grade for each class period that it is late.

Quizzes: There will be one quiz per unit. The quizzes may include writing, speaking, reading and listening elements.
Each quiz is worth between 15-40 points.
Homework: There will be various homework assignments. Homework may be turned in late the next class period for half credit. Homework turned in later than the next period is graded at the teacher’s discretion.
Point values for homework assignments will vary depending on the assignment.
Projects: There will be a few projects throughout our course. These projects may be completed both in and outside of class.
Project points will vary depending on the project.
Participation/ Preparation: This grade has two elements. Being prepared for class is half of the grade; participating and being on task is the other half.
Each student will start with 2 participation points per day. Each time you are unprepared or do not participate in class you will lose points.
Warm- Up: Students will be given a sheet where they will copy a warm-up from the board each day. They will also record their answer. This worksheet is completed during class time. Missed warm-ups are expected to be completed for the NEXT class period.
Warm-up sheets are worth 30 points.
Class Work: We will complete various assignments during class time.
Class Work points will vary depending on the assignment.
